I was born in Bellflower, California and lived in a few different cities in LA and Orange counties. We moved to Las Vegas when at the age of 13 and been a resident ever since.
I got into photography when I was in elementary school with 110 film cartridges. I moved on to 35mm film later on and worked in a darkroom in high school. Nothing like seeing images appear on paper sitting in developer.
While in the US Army digital cameras came out. I stuck with film for a while longer. When I did go to digital I started with a 3mp Olympus bought for a deep sea fishing trip to Baja California, it is still sitting on a shelf in my house. Then onto a Kodak 6mp which was a present from Mom. I quickly outgrew them. A Canon XTi was next which I used daily for about 6 years. I switched to Sony when they came out with their SLT cameras and have moved to their mirrorless. I use mostly Minolta lenses in part because I remember my Father and Stepfather using Minolta cameras when I was growing up. My mainly photographed subject is my daughters. It is a passion and a sometimes stress relieving hobby.
I hope you enjoy the pictures half as much as I enjoyed taking them. If you would like to have prints in your home let me know.
